Passes through various landscapes, starts at the ice cream shop, passes small businesses and the Lancaster evangelical church, before heading through a forested area, passes Millport Conservancy, farmland, Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum, and back through town.

There two covered bridges on this route, Lancaster is known for its unique covered bridges.
