Pennsylvania Interfaith Power & Light 2022 Bike/Hike for Climate Justice
ABOUT THE BIKE/HIKE
This Year in Pennsylvania! The annual PA IPL Climate Advocacy Bike Ride to the US Capitol has been re-imagined as a biking & hiking tour of Pennsylvania's trails. The various bike routes will bear witness to our extractive past and present while nurturing and rooting hope for a cleaner future to grow across our state.

This year’s ride will take place directly following the national Interfaith Power & Light’s annual conference. Our hope is to recruit 100 bikers and hikers to participate in this year’s event.
Important Dates
SUNDAY, MAY 1st - Opening Ceremonies and Kickoff Event
On the evening of Sunday, May 1st, PA IPL members, cyclists, hikers, and their supporters will gather to meet each other and open the 4-week event with prayer, song, and a blessing for the cyclists, the walkers, and the planet Earth.
SUNDAY, MAY 1st - MAY 29th
BIKE ONE HUNDRED MILES or HIKE FIFTY MILES on a prescribed route or one of your own.

SUNDAY, MAY 29th - Closing Ceremonies
Celebrate the participants and their accomplishments! On Sunday evening, May 29th, we will gather again to share a video montage of the bikers' & hikers' reflections, thank the participants for their efforts as well as thank supporters, our corporate sponsors, and share how we did with our fundraising goals.
