A Perky Ride on the Perkiomen

The day was perfect - 68 degrees and sunny. I was riding solo today to scope out the trail for the Philly riders the next day. The trail was in good shape and being well-used by bikers, hikers, moms and dads pushing baby carriages. It is a beautiful ride along the Perkiomen Creek through the woods and past several historic villages. It is full of twists and turns and unexpected encounters with nature. Here is a picture I took near the end of my 33 mile ride.
