A Prayer for our Earth

Updated: May 23, 2021

I finished my 100 miles (106) yesterday. Because of tight schedules, I decided to get a head start and to do some rides solo, offering each as a prayer for our world, her creatures, and a human collaboration to the challenge of climate change.

I took advantage of tossing my bike into my car and when I saw a path along the Susquehanna River (on my way to visiting my mom) I was able to get in a 10 mile ride.

Other rides were planned into my days; some along the dike near Wilkes-Barre, others on the streets of my neighborhood at 4:30am before the traffic began, and others at a local park.

Yesterday, fellow board member and friend Melinda and I did a beautiful 30 miler on the Delaware-Hudson Rail to Trail path….. beautiful !!!!!

I was able to reach my 100 miles (106) and Melinda is well on her way!

Blessings and thanks to everyone who supported me and PAIPL.

Whether you signed up on line or offered a simple envelope with a donation in the basket in my office (IHM Sisters), I thank you! YOU are making a difference.

God Bless,

Donna
