Lost in the Scotia Pine Barrens

I ventured out onto some of the multipurpose roads in the Scotia Pine Barrens using the new edition of the Purple Lizard Scotia map. I picked the wrong parking lot and therefore, the wrong starting point for my planned adventure! Nevertheless, I managed to find some rarely used trails and worked my way through the woods encountering wildlife and oftentimes on the boundary between private and public lands. I got to a crossroads in the middle of nowhere that didn't jive with the map. Fortunately, I was able to find my way to my starting point. Unplanned adventures are sometimes the most fun!
