2021 PA IPL Climate Ride Starts on Mother’s Day

Philadelphia’s 2021 Climate Ride started with joyful singing and prophetic blowing of the shofar at the Schuylkill River Trail’s Shawmont trailhead.

The group rested, stretched, and snacked together at the Betzwood turnaround point, across the river from Valley Forge.

The first twenty-five miles of riding together - on a cool, damp Mother’s Day, no less - provided a chance to get to know our fellow riders and to work out the kinks at the beginning of our 100-mile+ journey.
