Purdue Mountain Loop

  • 25-mile loop

    • Begins in State college, reaches Bellefonte, and returns back to its original starting point near Beaver Stadium.​

  • Passes University Park Airport on its way out of town to Purdue Mountain Road, a beautiful stretch of wilderness of about 7 miles.

  • Runs through the Town of Bellefonte and passes by the Bellefonte Historical Railroad society and the Centre County Government office.

  • Penn state Composting facility is near Purdue Mountain Loop

  • Land and water research building can be incorporated

  • The return home will take you through both farmlands and woodlands, passed the PA Fish and Boat Commission, Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, and back through Penn State’s campus.
